Today is the first day of the month, the first day of the year of 5769.  It’s Tisheri 1st the Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpets which is the Jewish New Year. There is little resemblance between the Feast of Trumpets, one of the holiest days of the year, and a typical New Year’s Eve midnight drinking party. This Sep 13th 2007 is the first day of the Jewish New Year! Two days ago we had a Partial Solar Eclipse on Sep 11, 2007. It has been six years since the American Towers event. This year of 5768 runs across 2007 and 2008 until the New Moon on Sep 29 next year.
